Winner of Adidas aZX Competition Anounced – Tambu!

Adidas aZX yarismasi son iki aydir cogu sneaker severleri ve tasarimcilarinin aklinda cikmamisti. Acaba kim bu aZX ‘Y’ pabucunun kazanan tasarimini yapmistir? Ve simdi aciklandi: Tambu adinda bir Barcelona manzarali tasarim kazanmis! Biz kazanani tebrik ediyoruz ama ayni anda Adidas’a da bir kac sey dememiz gerekiyor: son iki gun de Upload edilen tasarimlarin hic bir tanesi Online Gallery’e yuklenmedi ve herhalde bunlar hic Adidas’a ulasmadi. Kazanan tasarim tabii tartisilmaz, sonucta bir zevk meselesi, ama Juri’nin biraz daha fazla sneaker bilgisi olsaydi belki Puma Basket 1990s Championship Pack‘a ne kadar benzedigini gorurduler! Her neyse, ZX 700 ‘Y’ 250 cifti Mayis 2009′da cikacakmis! Simdi nihayet bu ’siyah’ Adidas sayfasini kapatabiliriz!

The Adidas aZX competition that had sneaker lovers and designers in it’s grip for the past two months has finally found its winner: Tambu from Barcelona. It has to be said that the Adidas Jury messed up majorly because the last two days of the competition none of the new designs came through on the Online Gallery and a lot of entries were lost. Without hating on the winning design we feel Adidas didn’t do their homework because the shoe looks a lot like the Puma Basket 1990s Championship Pack! Nonetheless we’re happy for Tambu and congratulate him/her with this honor! The ZX 700 ‘Y’ is limited to 250 pairs and will be released in May 2009! Now we can finally close this ‘black’ chapter of Adidas history!

Yok, yarismayi kazanan belli olmadi daha! Ama biz Adidas aZX sitesini her gun elli defa dan fazla girdigimiz icin, bari bir haber cikartalim dedik! Yarismanin mail adresi, azx@adidas.com, calismiyor galiba cunku daha hic bir mail geri gelmedi!

Bir sevindirici haber var ama, fotograftan belli oldugu gibi Adidas su anda katilimcilarin tasarimlarina bakiyorlar. Nihayet Upload formunu kapatmislar. Anlamadigimiz sey, neden aZX Gallery’de 21 ve 26’si arasinda hic bir pabuc yok? Biz butun tasarimlarimizi o gunlerde gonderdik! Umariz kaybetmemislerdir!!

Don’t get excited! The winner of the aZX Competition is still unknown! But we have been looking on their site fifty times a day and have emailed them several times, but azx@adidas.com doesn’t even exist!

So we thought we should give everybody else, who’s hoping to win this competition, proof that Adidas is  actually working on it as we speak! Think the photo speaks for itself. As for the gap between the latest entries and the ones before in the Gallery, we hope all our and other people’s entries from the 22nd till the 24th didn’t disappear!!

Amsterdam’da olan Patta magazasi uluslar arasi bu kadar meshur oldugunun farkinda degildik acikcasi. Iste Adidas aZX icin tasarimladiklari Adidas ZX 7000 Patta pabuc’un tanitim filmi icin Entourage’dan bilinen rapci Saigon’u yardim etmesi icin hazir bulmuslar!! 20 Eylul’de Patta’da!

We didn’t realize how famous Amsterdam based sneaker store Patta has gotten. They found rapper Saigon, famous from his Entourage cameos, ready to endorse the upcoming Adidas aZX 7000 Patta in this short promo! Available at Patta from the 20th of September!

Olamaz, Olamaz, Olamaz!!! Iste bu yuzden Adidas bizim en sevdigimiz markalardan bir tanesi! Adidas‘in ‘aZX’ koleksiyonun ilk bolumu – A harfinden H’a kadar – elimize gecti. Yardimci olan designirler ACU, Bodega, Colette, D-mop, Limited Editions, Foot  Patrol, Goodfoot ve Huf. Nihayet zamanindayiz: 8 Agustosta cikicak olan sneakerler agizlarimizi sulandirdi!

No, No, No! This is why Adidas is so freaking hot! The first part of the Adidas ‘aZX’  Collection – letters A to H is coming out. The designers that have helped them put this shindig together are: ACU, Bodega, Colette, D-mop, Limited Editions, Foot  Patrol, Goodfoot and Huf. And finally we’re on time with some news: the shoes that are expected to hit the stores on the 8th of August made our mouths water!
