Exhibition: Dan Witz – New Streetworks

9 Nisan’da başlayan ve 20’sine kadar devam eden ‘New Streetworks’ sergisi Sid Lee Collective‘in Amsterdam’da ki galerilerinde Dan Witz‘in ‘New Streetworks’unu yer veriyor! Tam Collective gibi, Mr. Witz’de orijinal ve yaratıcı bir şekide bizleri şaşırtıp düşündüren sanat yapmayı başarmış! Fotoğrafları sticker üzerine yapıp ve onu da plastikle kaplayıp binalara yapıştıran Witz’in sergisini Amsterdam’daysanız sakın kaçırmayıın!

From April 9th on the Sid Lee Collective in Amsterdam (do check their awesome website out) will host Dan Witz’s ‘New Streetworks’ exhibit! Just like the Collective, Mr. Witz has also found a way to surprise in an original and creative way. The stuff being shown at this show consists of photo-based, re-painted stickers mounted on plastic and glued onto buildings! If you’re in Amsterdam check it out before they pack it up on the 20th of April!

Adidas Urban Art Guide!

Adidas sokak sanat severlerine güzel bir iPhone uygulamasi çıkartıyor! 20 Mart’ta çikacak olan bu bedava app ilk olarak Berlin’de ki sokak sanatın nerde olduğunu iPhone da görebiliyorsunuz ve isterseniz fotoları indirip arkadaşlarınızla paylaşabiliryorsunuz! Biz yapanlarla konuştuk ve yakında bu uygulama global olacak ve belki Pabuc! olarak Istanbul’un guide’unu hazırlarız! Siteye burdan ulaşabilirsiniz!

Adidas is dropping this amazing looking iPhone app that will also see a launch party at the 20th of March in Berlin! The free app is a guide to all the urban art spots in Berlin and gives you the possibility to look up the location and the pics of street art in the area and then download or share these with friends. We’ve heard from the people behind it, that they are also looking to make the app global so maybe we’ll be doing the Istanbul content! Check the movie out here!

Her zaman müzik producer olmak isteyen ve bunu beceremiyenler için şimdi Arjantin Flash yapımcısı Najle‘den bir inanılmaz coşturan ve sapıtırıcı bir Flash müzik konsolu çıkmış! Daft Punk sevenleri için daha da eğlenceli olan bu alet’te ekranda ki her kutu bir sözçuğu temsil ediyor ve her kutunun da klavyeniz de ki bir harf aktive ediyor! I was never much of a music producer. Until now that is! Najle from Argentina came up with this crazy ass spacelicious music device that makes all the Daft Punk lovers go apeshit! It’s a music console made in Flash, where every box represents a word from a Daft Punk song and every box is being activated by a letter on your keyboard. So q, w, e, r, a, s, d, f gives: work it, make it, do it, makes us, harder, better, faster, stronger! Let the playing begin! Oh, and we are told that more songs are going to be added and a pitch control might be one of the new features so go visit the Daft Punk Console now and keep an eye on this site! One More Time!!!

Nothing Amsterdam – Creative Agency creates Creative Office!

Michael Jansen ve Bas Korsten, Selmore’un kurucularından, yeni bir creative agency açmışlar ve adını Nothing koymuşlar! Ee iki adamın bir ajans açması neden bu kadar özel diye düşünüyorsunuz galiba. Aşağıda ki resimlere bir bakın, anlarsaınız! Bütün ofis kartondan yapılmış!!! Hiçbir şeyden bir şey yapıp, ama o şeyi halen hiçbir şey olarak görmek ve aynı anda aslında herkezin bu hiçbir şeyin gerçekten inanılmaz bir şey olduğunu düşünmesi, bize çok yaratıcı geldi! Ofis iki tasarımcı, Alrik Koudenburg ve Joost van Bleiswijk tarafından yapılmış ve Amsterdam’de bulunmaktadır! Hiçbir şey eklememe gerek yok artık!

Michael Jansen and Bas Korsten, co-founders of Selmore, have opened a new creative agency called Nothing. What’s so special about two dudes opening up an agency, I hear you think. Well, look at their office and you’ll understand that these are top players in the creative bizz! Making something out of nothing, but still calling it nothing, knowing that everybody thinks it’s something, now that’s creative! Based in my home town Amsterdam, the Nothing office is built entirely of cardboard and was designed by designers Alrik Koudenburg and Joost van Bleiswijk!

Cut&Paste Digital Design Tournament

Alıştığımız başlangıçlardan bir tanesi oldu ne yazık ki ama gerçek bu: Cut&Paste Digital Design Tournament dünyanın bir çok şehirinde yer alacak ama Istanbul bu listede yer almıyor daha! Siz de bizim gibi düşünüyorsanız bize bir mail gönderin, biz de bunu Cut&Paste’in organizasyonuna illetelim ve kim bilir gelecek sene, biz de yaratıcılımızla dünyayla kapışırız!

The Cut&Paste crew is touring the globe (unfortunately no Istanbul yet, but we’re aiming to be part of the 2010 tour) and this year their line-up consists of 2D, 3D, and Motion Design in sixteen cities worldwide. It’s like a rap battle, but then designers have 20 minutes to kick each other’s ass live on stage! Yes, it’s cool as ice and we want to be part of it! New this year is the global championship taking place in NYC and there all 48 winners will battle each other!

Nom de Guerre – F/W ‘09 Collection

Nom de Guerre Sonbahar/Kış koleksiyonunu sundu ve şu anda neden en iyi erkek giyim markalarından bir tanesi olduğunu tekrar hatırlattılar! Tabii fiyatlar biraz daha uygun olsaydı biz de belki bir kaç outfit alabilirdik ama neyse, kader değilmiş herhalde!

Nom de Guerre proves that they are among the top menswear brands with their fall/winter ‘09 collection! Of course we would love to rock their clothes but unfortuantely the price tags contain too many digits. Well, maybe they’ll read this and send me one of those nice grey jackets!

International Guild Of Woodbuyers

Kötü haberim var sizlere: haftalık blog turunuza bir site daha katmanız lazım. Işte International Guild of Woodbuyers Hollanda’dan bir kaç yaratıcı kişinin yeni projesi. Katılanlar arasında butik 290 square meters, bizim örneğimiz Nalden, reklam bürosu Hendsum&Young, plak şirketi Appletree Records, party organizasyonu Appelsap & Bambookings! Artık neler olup bitiyor o küçük ülkemde, böyle takip edebilirim! Sizi de davet ediyoruz!

And there you go: another website you have to check frequently. This time it’s a collabo site from Holland and it’s called the International Guild of Woodbuyers. The collective consists of boutique 290 square meters, online strategist & social entrepeneur Nalden, advertising agency Hendsum&Young, record label Appletree Records, party-organisation Appelsap & booking agency Bambookings! Without typing over the entire post on Endorsed, we just want to say that we expect a lot of creativity from these guys and hopefully we’ll find ourselves working together with them for a Pabuc! launch in Istanbul! Stay online!

Philogresz – Sentiment EP

Pabuc! olarak çok şanslıyız.Her bir kaç hafta da bir elimize yeni fazla bilinmeyen müzik geçiyor ve P•Y•T ve The Pinecones‘dan sonra şimdi Philogresz‘in Sound Architecture label’ınde çıkartığı ‘Sentiment EP’e biraz dijital yer ayırıyoruz! Philogresz aka ilker Soylu Istanbullu ama bir kaç sene önce okumak için Hollanda’ya taşınmış. Işte orda müzik yapma kabiliyetinle tanısmış ve şimdi de bizi böyle harika bir EP sunuyor!

Müziği üzücü, düşünürücü, ve aynı anda mutlu ediyor. Başladığında duramıyorsun ve hemen bağımlı olup kalıyorsan! Bizim dememiz size yeterli değil se bir de bakın Laurent Garnier baba ne demiş: “LOVE THIS SHIT, this is DEEEEEEEEEP and BEAUTIFULL full support from me, a million thanks for the great music!” Yeterli dedik galiba, haydi git MySpace‘de bir kaç saat geçir!

Ok, so every once in a while I get an email from a befriended DJ with their new stuff and it just happens that every time I get something like that, I really dig it! So after P•Y•T and The Pinecones, I’m now giving some digital space to Philogresz and his ‘Sentiment EP’ released on Sound Architecture records! Philogresz aka ilker Soylu hails from the Bull and moved to The Netherlands to study music production and sound engineering (so the opposite of what I did).

Now a couple of years later, he is making his own stuff and it is off the fucking hook like Peter Pan! When I listen to his music it forces me to feel melancholic and makes me think about stuff I don’t want to think about. It’s deep, it’s direct and it’s confronting. All of this and not in a bad way. Because at the same time, you can’t stop listening and you feel happy because the sounds seem to flow so naturally.

Just check it out yourself on his MySpace and tell me if I’m wrong! Well, that would also be saying that Laurent Garnier is wrong, because this is what he had to say about Philogresz: “LOVE THIS SHIT, this is DEEEEEEEEEP and BEAUTIFULL full support from me, a million thanks for the great music!” Enough said I think!

Supra Skytop’tan başka da güzel pabuc çıkartabildiklerini bu Supra Suprano Metallic Purple’le kanıtlıyor! Bayanlara özel olan ayakkabı bizim gerçekten Istanbul sokaklarında görmek istediğimiz bir pabuc! Haydi hep beraber Zappos‘a uğrayıp Türkiye’yi de Supra Suprano’larla tanıştıralım!

Adidas Superstar Vintage – Sole

Adidas 60 senelik yaşgününü kutlamak için bir pabuc daha çıkartmışlar! Daha önce de gösterdiğimiz bu Adidas Superstar Vintage ‘Sole’ da Adidas’ların altını bu sefer üstüne desen olarak kullanmışlar! Gümüş bizi pek sevindirmedi ama yinede orijinal bir pabuc olduğu kesin! Atmos‘dan alabilirsiniz!

Adidas delivers another sneaker in light of their celebrations of ‘60 years of Stripes and Soles’! This time it’s the Adidas Superstar Vintage ‘Sole’ that has a nice soleprint on the upperside of the shoe and of course also on its sole (duh!). Well, the colorway reminds me of Japanese school girls, but I don’t know why. Available now at Atmos.
