Quannum Projects x Shoebiz x Reebok – Ventilator Pack

Quannum Projects, San Francisco magazasi Shoebiz ve Reebok bir araya gelip dort Reebok Ventilator yapmaya karar vermisler. Ancak orda kalmadi, hem de dort hip hop’cudan ilham alip yapmislar. Ilki Blackalicious’un, ikincisi DJ Shadow’un, ucuncusu ve dorduncusu kimin belli degil! Hepsi simdi sadece Shoebiz‘de satiliyor!

Quannum Projects, San Francisco store Shoebiz, and the folks at Reebok cooked up a new collabo for the Reebok Ventilators. This time they took their inspiration from the hip-hop scene: the first sneaker is the Blackalicious one, the second the DJ Shadow one, and the third and the fourth we really don’t know but they are called the Latryx and the Quannum. All available now @ Shoebiz!

Just a week after our post on the Air Max 1 Safari the Nike Terminator High Safari has dropped. Originally scheduled for a Spring ‘09 release, this sneaker is now available @ Leaders 1354.

Hong Kong-based CLOT and Nike got together for the Nike 1World project and made this nice and very detailed Air Force 1! Unfortunately only available in Hong Kon!

Exhibition: Seda Hepsev – Some Wrongs Do Make A Right @ X-Ist

Wow! Sanatin ne guzel olabildigini bize tekrar hatirlatan isim Seda Hepsev. Istanbul’un onde gelen galerilerinden X-Ist‘de 25 Aralik’tan itibaren ‘Bazı Yanlışlar Doğruları Götürmez’. Sitede sergiyle ilgili boyle bir yazi var ‘Sanatçı, vesikalık fotoğrafların yanı sıra, düğün kutlama gibi aile fertlerini bir araya getiren “kusursuz hatıra fotoğrafları”nı, yaptığı ufak müdahelelerle yeniden biçimlendirip tuvale aktarmıştır’. 17 Ocak’a kadar suren sergiyi lutfen, ama lutfen kacirmayin. Ama kravat veya guzel kazakla gitmeyin. Sneaker giyip represent edin yeni nesil yaratici gencleri!

Wow! We just got reminded why art plays such a big role in our lives. Seda Hepsev paints us a picture of Turkey that we have never lived, but feel is part of our lives as well. At one of Istanbul’s finest galleries, X-Ist, her ‘Some Wrongs Do Make A Right’ exhibition will be showing from the 25th of December till the 17th of January 2009!  On the site there’s this piece about the exhibit: ‘The artist has brought together not only passport photos but also photos from family gatherings like weddings and took took these ‘picture perfect photos’ out of their context and transferred them to canvas’. If you feel as excited as us about this exhibition, don’t miss out. And when you go why don’t you leave your suit or expensive looking sweater at home and go in your flashy colorful sneakers and represent the new creative generation in Turkey!
